1. Our Refund Guarantee
We want you to be satisfied with InstaResume.Pro. We offer the following refund options:
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase if you're not satisfied. No questions asked for first-time purchasers.
2. Refund Eligibility by Plan Type
Free 7-Day Trial
- The free trial requires no payment — no refund is applicable
- After the trial expires, you can subscribe to keep access
- Paid subscriptions are subject to the refund terms below
Pro Monthly ($15.00/month)
- 30-day money-back guarantee on initial purchase
- Cancel anytime; access continues until end of billing period
- No refunds for partial months after the 30-day guarantee period
Pro Annual ($79.00/year)
- 30-day money-back guarantee from purchase date
- Prorated refunds may be considered for months 2-3 on a case-by-case basis
- No refunds after 90 days from purchase
One-Time Pass ($19.99)
- Refundable within 24 hours if no exports were made
- Non-refundable once you have exported a resume or cover letter
- Technical issues preventing export are eligible for refund or service credit
3. Refundable Circumstances
We offer refunds in the following situations:
- 30-Day Guarantee: Any request within 30 days of initial purchase (first-time purchasers only)
- Technical Issues: Service disruptions preventing use for more than 24 consecutive hours
- Billing Errors: Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized charges
- Failed Cancellation: If you attempted to cancel before renewal but were charged due to a system error
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are NOT eligible for refunds:
- Requests made more than 30 days after purchase (except annual plan prorations)
- Subscription renewals after the initial 30-day period
- Partial months or unused portions of a billing period
- One-Time Pass after any export has been made
- Repeat refund requests (limited to one refund per customer)
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (you can edit all content)
- Failure to use the Service during your subscription period
- Changes in personal circumstances (job found, no longer job searching, etc.)
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@instaresume.pro with subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address
- Provide your order/transaction ID (found in your receipt email)
- Briefly explain the reason for your request
Response Time: We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Most eligible refunds are processed within 3-5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Bank Processing: It may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card company.
Account Access: Once a refund is processed, your premium access will be revoked immediately. Any resumes you created will remain accessible in preview mode on the free tier.
7. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation: Canceling your subscription stops future billing. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for cancellation.
Refund: A refund returns money to your payment method and immediately revokes premium access.
To cancel your subscription without requesting a refund, go to Dashboard → Billing or contact support.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Please Contact Us Before Filing a Chargeback
We resolve most issues within 24 hours. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account termination.
Friendly Fraud Prevention: If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately terminate your account
- Contest the chargeback with documentation of service delivery
- Pursue collection of the disputed amount plus any fees incurred
- Report the incident to fraud prevention databases
- Ban the associated payment methods from future use
Legitimate billing disputes should be directed to support@instaresume.pro first. We will work with you to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
9. Refund Abuse Policy
To protect our business and other customers, we monitor for refund abuse patterns. The following may result in refund denial and account termination:
- Multiple refund requests across different accounts or payment methods
- Requesting refunds after extensively using the Service
- Pattern of purchasing, using, and requesting refunds
- Using exported resumes after receiving a refund
- False or misleading claims in refund requests
One Refund Policy: Each customer is eligible for ONE refund under our 30-day guarantee. Repeat refund requests will not be honored.
10. Service Credits
In some cases, we may offer service credits instead of cash refunds:
- Extended subscription time for service outages
- Upgrade credits for minor issues
- Future discount codes for feedback providers
Service credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire 12 months after issuance.
11. Force Majeure
Refunds are not available for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, pandemics, or failures of third-party service providers.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction. Continued use of our Service after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy for future purchases.
